Q & A

Why did you choose your profession?

A Deep Commitment to Transformational Growth: I’ve always been driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact in the life sciences industry. My career has been centered around developing strategies that not only drive sustainable revenue growth but also improve patient outcomes. I take pride in having contributed to life-changing therapies that have reached millions of patients, and I’m passionate about creating innovative solutions that make a real difference.

Unwavering Leadership and Empowerment: I thrive on nurturing talent and empowering teams to achieve their full potential. Whether it’s through initiatives like rotational opportunities for high-potential employees or establishing platforms for open policy discussions, I strive to create environments where collaboration and leadership can flourish. Seeing others grow and succeed under my guidance is one of the most rewarding aspects of my career.

A Lifelong Curiosity and Drive for Excellence: My journey has been fueled by a relentless pursuit of growth and learning. Whether it’s earning advanced degrees, championing breakthrough therapies, or solving complex challenges, I’m dedicated to pushing boundaries and delivering excellence. I’m passionate about innovation and finding new ways to address unmet needs in the pharmaceutical space.

Who are your main influences?

My parents, and family, my friends, and the professional colleagues and leaders I’ve encountered along the way have profoundly influenced me. They’ve guided me in shaping a personal brand that’s centered on helping others and achieving success through integrity—always doing the right things and avoiding shortcuts.

What is your greatest accomplishment?

One of my greatest personal accomplishments is providing for my family in a way that has opened doors to education, enriched experiences, travel, and exposure to a diverse range of people and cultures. Seeing my loved ones grow, learn, and embrace the world with curiosity has been deeply fulfilling. Professionally, I take immense pride in strategically leading and developing a high-performing team over a nine-year period. Together, we not only delivered life-saving therapies to 7 million patients, helping them regain wellness and allowing them to reconnect with their families, friends, and communities, but also generated $2 billion in revenue along the way. The impact of giving patients the chance to contribute to their communities and shine in the light of wellness far outweighs the financial achievements, making this a profoundly meaningful endeavor.

What tools do you use?

Personal Journal – This seems foundational. Reflecting daily helps you understand patterns, clarify thoughts, and identify areas to grow. It’s a tool that strengthens your self-awareness, which fuels the other two practices.

Active Listening – Practicing this relentlessly is a game-changer, not just for you but for others around you. It builds trust, improves communication, and allows you to learn from others—directly complementing your habit of asking questions.

Asking Insightful Questions – By asking meaningful questions, you expand your understanding and help others grow. It shows curiosity and a deep commitment to learning and connection.

What advice would you give to someone just starting out in your profession?

My advice to anyone starting out in my profession is to focus on building a strong foundation of integrity and relationships. Always prioritize doing the right thing over taking shortcuts, because long-term success comes from trust and consistency. Seek out mentors, collaborate with others, and continuously learn from your experiences and those around you. And most importantly, never lose sight of the impact you can have on others—helping others succeed is just as rewarding as achieving your own goals.
